Happiness Is An Action, Not A Reaction

I was listening to a lecture by my teacher recently and he said that, happiness is a reaction, not a reaction.  This is something Yogi Bhajan said as well.  That had such an impact on me.  The words went right into my psyche and changed something.  It’s true.  When we know how the mind-body-soul energy system works, it’s a no brainer.  We CAN actually choose a better thought and side-step the thoughts and emotions that come from reacting to things that come up.  We have control over our minds, we just need energy to run that part of ourselves.  That’s where Kundalini Yoga comes in handy.  It’s actually why people say Kundalini Yoga can make you a happier person.  It gives you awareness, and with that awareness, you can then use your energy to go in a more beneficial direction.  It’s great, isn’t it?  Keep up!
