NOTES FOR WOMEN:

Following are some cautions for practicing kundalini yoga if you are a woman who is pregnant or menstruating.

 IF YOU ARE PREGNANT

***Please notify the teacher via chat in the class or via email prior to the class.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR PREGNANT WOMEN:

– Always use care and good judgement when doing physical postures.
– Do not do any postures which put pressure on the abdomen or womb area.
– Do Not Do:  Breath of Fire or any Open Mouth Breathing.

IF YOU ARE ON YOUR MENSTRUAL CYCLE:

On the first three (3) days of your cycle, avoid breath of fire. Also be mindful of putting too much stress or strain on your navel/pelvic area. In other words go at your own pace and take it easy.
