what easter, passover and the spring holidays represent

Holidays and their rituals are supposed to move us higher through symbols.   At least that’s what they’re supposed to do.  Problem it’s been hijacked by chocolate rabbits and Cadbury eggs. Which is what? The egg a symbol of new life and rebirth. However it’s filled with sweets and candy which is what the father and mother give children to appease and delight them. There’s nothing there about being reborn as a conscious, aware human who is one with God.

In the spring we have several holidays that point to resurrection.  To new life.  There’s Easter, of course.  Then there’s Passover.  The Sikhs have Baisaki.  And I am sure there are others.  It’s no accident that these holidays happen all at the same time— early in the spring, when new life appears after the dead of winter.  Holidays are rituals which are rich in symbols.  Together ritual and symbol are designed to move the mind to a higher awareness of the self. 

In the case of these spring holidays, the symbols all point to a new spiritual life; where one is reborn in the higher awareness of the self. Resurrection is a rebirth— from unconscious to conscious living.

The resurrection of The Christ, where Jesus came back to life after forgiving those who killed him. The cross is a symbol of The Christ Consciousness which is the opening of the heart, where heaven meets the earth in the man; where father and son are one. God and me, me and God are One.

The passover, is where the life is freed from bondage, as a slave to the earthly realm, then given a chance at new life and freedom in the self-awareness of the soul. 

Baisaki is a symbol of giving one’s head to The Guru, so all that is left is The Heart in a new spiritual life.

It’s said a symbol moves the mind 65,000 times faster than language.  In the previous age we needed religion and symbol to help us across.

Now what we need is energy and awareness to BE the symbol and move with it at light speed.

Kundalini Yoga is the actual energy of rebirth and spiritual resurrection.  You move the energy of your soul, the kundalini, at the speed of light.  You experience it directly. You ARE the symbol in real time. It’s a conscious awakening and connection to the infinite, now.  That’s why it’s so revolutionary.  You don’t need the symbols that point to the energy.  You get the actual energy and awareness by being in the practice of it. 

It’s quite literally like connecting to the God force directly, no symbols needed.
