Brain fog in the information age
Back in 1995 the master Yogi Bhajan said this:
“The information will be so much that the man's brain will be fatigued. It is that fatigue in the head which will make a person incoherent, senile. And then self will be lost.”
I’ve noticed this in myself. Too much information and chasing information creates this sort of fatigue in the brain and it brings down the whole energy system.
Here’s how it works. The mind has an infinite component to it. This is by design because the mind is given us to help us experience the soul and experience things on the earth. The problem comes when you use only the intellect and not the intuition.
The mind can calculate unto infinity because it is both infinite and finite. And when we’re overstimulated from social media and the instant nature of technology— think “I just texted them, why didn’t they answer yet? Was it what I said? What’s going on?” — insert feelings, emotions and then drama. Exhausting. Or insert your own experience.
The fact is we’re overstimulated with technology and we have to relax. It’s only in the relaxation that we can find the intuition, the whisper of the infinite that tells you your next move. Without that, we chase information out of fear of the future, or we blame our circumstances on our past, or on the people around us. This is all subconscious garbage.
And that’s the sum total of it. We think too much in the information age, and try to do too much. This creates a brain fatigue. A “fog of war” from being at war with our lives, fighting to keep up instead of flowing with the infinite.
We can clear up this brain fog, speed up our intelligence and use our intuition to make moves from the intuition, The Divine. THEN the intellect can calculate all that needs to be done to support and fuel the decision which you make from your intuition, The Divine.
